What is this site?

CompWatch is a free directory that aggregates UK prize competition listings into one place. We collect information from competition websites across the UK so you can browse prizes, compare ticket prices and see closing dates without visiting each site individually.

Is it free to use?

Yes, CompWatch is completely free to use, including the table view (Power Mode), saved searches with email alerts, and My entries. A verified email address unlocks the personal features. We do not charge for access to any of the information on the site.

How often are listings updated?

Listings are updated automatically throughout the day. Competitions that are ending soon are checked more frequently to ensure closing times and ticket counts are as accurate as possible.

Why are some prices or odds missing?

Some competition websites display their information in ways that make it difficult to extract automatically. If a price or ticket count is missing, it usually means we were unable to read it from the source page. We are constantly improving our data collection to fill in gaps.

Are you affiliated with the competition sites?

CompWatch is an independent directory and is not owned by or formally connected to any competition operator. We do not run, sponsor or endorse any competitions. Some outbound links are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This does not influence rankings or ratings.

How are odds calculated?

We show the odds right now, which use the tickets sold so far, and the odds if the competition sells out, which use the total number of tickets. Can I enter competitions through this site?

Not directly. When you find a competition you are interested in, click through to the original competition website to enter. All purchases and entries are handled entirely by the competition operator.
